2. Purpose of Data Collection

We process your personal and business data strictly for the following purposes:

• FulfillmentTo process orders, manage logistics, and ensure accurate delivery from manufacturers to your location.
• Legal ComplianceTo generate valid tax invoices (containing GSTIN) as required by the Government of India.
• AuthenticationTo secure your app login and ensure only authorized personnel access your business profile.
• CommunicationTo send order updates, invoices, and respond to inquiries via email or SMS.

As a distributor, we share your data only with necessary partners involved in the fulfillment chain:

• ManufacturersTo fulfill specific technical requirements or warranties.
• Logistics PartnersWe share only necessary delivery details (Name, Address, Phone) with verified third-party couriers such as Shiprocket and Delhivery.
• Payment GatewaysYour payment interactions are handled by Razorpay — a secure, encrypted processor. HappyNoL does not store your full bank or card details.
• Legal RequirementsWe may disclose data if required by law or to protect against fraud or security threats.

4. Data Security

We implement robust technical and organizational measures to safeguard your information:

• EncryptionSensitive data like your login credentials and contact details are stored using industry-standard encryption via Supabase's secure cloud infrastructure.
• Access ControlOnly authorized HappyNoL administrators have access to backend systems.
• ConfidentialityWe do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or business data to any third-party marketing agencies. Ever.

5. Your Rights (DPDP Act)

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, you have the following rights:

• Right to AccessYou can review your profile data anytime via your dashboard.
• Right to CorrectionYou may update or correct your GSTIN or contact details through the admin panel.
• Right to ErasureYou may request deletion of your account, subject to legal requirements for GST record retention (records must be maintained for a statutory period as per Indian law).

6. Retention of Data

We retain your business information for as long as your account is active or as needed to comply with our legal and tax obligations in India.

7. Cookies

Our platform uses minimal essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember session preferences. We do not use intrusive tracking cookies for behavioral advertising.
